Hoboken Montessori School is expanding as we enter our 12th year of providing an authentic Montessori education. Four new classrooms will be added in September 2023.
(Hoboken, NJ -August ‘23)—Hoboken Montessori is thrilled to announce our expansion into additional space at 1425 Washington Street@Hudson Tea.
HMS currently has 7 classrooms at its two uptown locations, and will grow to 11 classrooms serving early childhood students. The classrooms will be designed with the same look and feel as the current spaces: calm, peaceful and purposeful, with a continued focus on developing the whole child — socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively.
Ms. Vora founded HMS in 2011 as a new parent wanting to provide an authentic Montessori education for her own children. A Montessori school did not exist in Hoboken and HMS became the first. Her children attended the school from 2011 to 2013 and served as an inspiration for its creation and growth. She states, “I am overjoyed to be expanding and providing more local parents the opportunity to access this exceptional learning method for their children. It has been a great team effort- a team of long standing professional Montessori certified administrators, teachers, and assistants that are committed to providing an authentic Montessori education in a beautifully prepared environment.”
Director Katie Cullen has been with HMS since the beginning. She states that “Children are constantly learning from the world around them and Montessori education is a unique and engaging approach that best prepares the child for their future. Our highly dedicated teaching staff at HMS truly sets us apart. It has been exciting to observe the continued growth of Hoboken Montessori School since I joined in 2011 and I am looking forward to this new chapter.”
