HMS Academic Year Programs

Tuition & Fees 2020-2021

 

Application Fee: (non-refundable) $75 

Annual Fees: (non-refundable) Enrollment Fee per Student*: $750 for new students/$375 returning students

Tuition Deposit: (non-refundable): Tuition Deposit: $1,500 for new and returning students

*Enrollment fee includes one-time registration fee for new students, materials/supplies, and activity fees.

Pre-Primary Program  (18 months by Oct 1 - 2.8 yrs)

Primary Program (3 yrs by Dec 31 - 6 yrs)

Multi-Age Program Preschool-Kindergarten 

  • Students turning 4 years old by October 1st and older may attend PM, Full or Extended School Day.

  • Children turning 5 years old by October 1st must attend full day.

  • Kindergarteners are included in the Primary Program which represents the final year in the cycle.

  • Children are required to be fully toilet trained in the Primary program.

  • Parents must provide a nut-free lunch.

  • Sibling discount of 5% will be applied to the lower school day tuition and contracted childcare. Siblings must be enrolled simultaneously in five day schedules.

Additional Contracted Care per Academic Year

  • The 2 or 3 day contracted days must be consistent each week. 

  • Before care daily rate: $15; After care hourly rate ($15/hour charged in hourly increments); Sibling discount for optional care is 50% off the second child.

Hoboken Montessori School Enrollment Policies

 

 

  1. Enrolling your child at HMS: Hoboken Montessori School admits students at the end of February for the upcoming school year, and admissions continues thereafter on a rolling basis as space permits. HMS uses TADS (www.tads.com), a tuition management services company, to process enrollment contracts and payments for our families. For new and returning students, a tuition deposit of $1,500 and the enrollment fee is due with the enrollment contract in order to secure your child’s spot. The tuition deposit, enrollment fee, and TADS fee (if applicable) are non- refundable and non-transferable. We ask parents to take this commitment seriously before enrolling, as these fees secure your child’s spot in the program and are not refundable under any circumstance.  All payment plans begin on April 1. Students that enroll after May 31 for the upcoming school year, will be required to pay a 20% non-refundable tuition deposit and fees with the enrollment agreement.

  2. Tuition Agreement: Hoboken Montessori School requires a commitment for the academic school year from September to June as the school commits to staff and resources based on contracted schedules. Therefore, HMS programs require a financial commitment to tuition, fees and contracted childcare for the full school year. There will be no refund, credit, adjustment, or remission of fees or tuition for any reason, including but not limited to absence, withdrawal, or dismissal of the student from Hoboken Montessori School except as provided in the Voluntary Withdrawal provision of the tuition agreement.   

  3. Payment Plans: Families must use TADS for all payments. TADS accepts automatic bank payments from a checking/savings account only.  There is an annual TADS processing fee ranging from $0 - $50 depending on the payment plan selected.  Hoboken Montessori offers four payment options through TADS: one, two, three, and monthly installments (ten installments, if payments start April 1st).  All tuition payments must be made by January 2nd of the present academic school year. A discount of 1% on the tuition balance and childcare is offered for the one payment plan for payments received by April 1. Late fees and returned check fees apply.
