2023 summer programs: June 19th- August 18th


HMS offers fun, recreational, and educational summer programs with experienced teachers in quality programs that focus on exciting bi-weekly themes. Our warm, nurturing, and hands-on environment is designed to create an engaging social atmosphere. This 5-day program was designed to model our academic school year but includes an extended period of daily outdoor play and water play.

Our unique Montessori experience includes both indoor & outdoor activities, including:

  • crafts

  • games

  • experiments

  • presentations

  • walking field trips 

  • water play

  • assorted gross motor activities

half & full day camps


HMS will offer 2 types of camps during our Summer Program. Click on links for full camp descriptions. 


  • Traditional Camp- With weeks of hands-on activities, children will have the opportunity to explore Montessori materials while also diving deep into themes full of crafts, experiments, and imaginative fun. (Current students & Age 3 by Oct 1: half & full day) 

  • Specialty Camp - Designed with our older students in mind, this unique full day program offers children the opportunity to explore new subjects, cultivate existing interests, and develop lifelong skills. (Age 4 by Dec 31: full day only)

eligibility & enrollment terms


Traditional Camp is open to currently enrolled students and children who turn 3 years old by October 1, 2023. Half and Full Day schedules are available. 

Specialty Camp is a full day only camp open to all students who turn 4 years old by December 31, 2023, through 6 years old. 

Enrollment Requirements

Minimum enrollment is 3 weeks. 

Schedules & Fees by Week

Half-Day (9:00 am - 12:00 pm) $495

Full-Day (9:00 am - 3:00 pm) $595

Before Care* (8:00 am - 9:00 am) $50

After Care*  (3:00 pm - 6:00 pm) $95

*Before and/or Aftercare is available if there is sufficient enrollment. 

Note: Camp weeks that fall during July 4th week will be prorated since camp will not be in session on Tuesday, July 4th.


Registration Fee per Student: $100 one-time non-refundable. This fee is waived for current and incoming HMS students.

Supply Fee per Student: $200 one-time non-refundable and non-transferable

Deposit: $250 non-refundable and non-transferable deposit

The registration fee (if applicable) and deposit are due with this registration form in order to secure your child's space. The deposit will be applied to the summer program fee balance. The supply fee is due on June 1, 2023.  

Sibling discount applies to Traditional and Specialty Camps only. Discount is 5% off the lower summer tuition for a second child 

Camp Balance & Refunds

The Summer Camp balance is due on June 1, 2023.  Notification must be given in writing on or before June 1 if you would like to withdraw. After June 1, camp reservations can be moved to another week, space permitting. After June 1, there will be no refunds permitted.
