We would also like to provide you with ideas, tips and information on how to incorporate Montessori at home. These activities and resources will help keep your child engaged while at home for an extended period of time, keeping the consistent routine and order of our prepared Montessori classroom environments.

Please keep in mind that a day at HMS includes lots of movement and gross motor activity. Incorporate time for outdoor time, freedom of choice, and time to relax and enjoy one another's company.

6) Parent Education

HMS will hold sessions to connect with you live through Zoom and cover the topic of Montessori at Home. We will discuss Montessori principles for natural learning to encourage cooperation, how to create an at-home Montessori space to welcome exploration and learning, and activity ideas to support your child's development. Feel free to prepare any questions or scenarios that you may be experiencing.
