specialty camp descriptions -2022 

This 8-week camp was designed with our older students in mind. This unique program offers children the opportunity to explore new subjects, cultivate existing interests, and develop lifelong skills. Our program is a great opportunity to continue to enhance important social skills, such as leadership and collaboration. Each two-week session has a dedicated focus on a specific theme, from cooking to robots, and lots more in between!

 

This Full Day only program is for children who turn 4 years old by December 31, 2022.

weekly themes

World Peace

Session 1- Week 1: 6/27-7/1 and Week 2: 7/5-7/8 

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

Today’s children are tomorrow’s future! Leap into learning about the importance of keeping our earth beautiful for many years to come. Campers will create and experiment using only recycled materials, begin to understand the importance of cutting down on the amount of waste they create and help them learn lifelong lessons about environmental responsibility.

Robot on Wheels

Session 2- Week 3: 7/11-7/15 and Week 4 7/18-7/22

Robots, Robots!

This multi-sensory theme will fully engage even the youngest camper as they “iron out the nuts and bolts” of constructing a real-life robot while dabbling with the science topic of living and non-living. This theme is sure to be a big hit!

Kids in Preschool

Session 3- Week 5: 7/25- 7/29 and Week 6: Aug 1-5

Think With Your Hands

Campers will move full “STEAM” ahead as they learn the science and engineering behind building with legos. This theme is designed to encourage teamwork and foster a child’s curiosity and critical thinking, all while being creative.

Baking

Session 4: Week 7: 8/8 - 8/12  & Week 8: 8/15 - 8/19

Cooking Around The World

Calling all aspiring chefs! Let’s travel the world together and learn about the various cuisines along the way. Campers will put their math skills to the test as they measure and combine ingredients to make delectable dishes from Italy, Southeast Asia, and Africa, just to name a few!
